The Eagle Mantel Clock

The Eagle Clock is reminiscent of the Federal Period (about 1820-40)
in the United States. The design has strong European roots, and an American
Eagle on lookout.
The cabinet is veneered with rosewood, in natural colors, on
solid mahogany with boxwood inlay and edge lines. The base features a
key drawer for convenience.
- Eight-day triple chime movement strikes Westminister, St. Michael's and
Whittington melodies.
- Solid brass bezel with convex glass and a 7" dial
- The movement has a second hand, automatic night silencer and a chime sequence
corrector.
- The cabinet is hand rubbed and waxed to achieve an antique patine with light
distressing.
This beautiful decorative, functional clock is finished back and front and
so can be free standing for enjoyment from any direction.
