Inspiration: The Chippendale Corner Cupboard
When Antiques Roadshow™ visited New York City in 2001, this handsome corner
cupboard was appraised at an amazing $12,000. Determined to be Chippendale
from 1785-1810, the curved glass panes and stately presence inspired the creation
of the country china cabinet, a grandfather clock and a complete dining group
based on this piece.
